Which crafts and activities did the kids at Cathletics like best at the Faith station? The younger kiddos like the puppets (with all the parts precut), the agamographs, and coloring with painter’s tape best. The younger kiddos also like skits with dress up. They love taking turns dressing up for prayer. I throw on a robe, wings, and a crown and the kid is happy. The older kids liked making Mass books. Grades Five and Six like service projects. I explained that the little booklets were for their cousins or siblings. We did each day’s lesson and then took on these mini-projects. The kids created little themed books: Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, and Fruits of the Spirit. So much of what you do in RE or VBS is marketing. The older kids didn’t mind cutting and gluing as long as it was a project not make work.
