Go Forth: Day One

Kraków is Day One.  St JP2 originated WYD.  Let’s begin with his home country.  Kraków is close to his home town.  WYD was held in Kraków in. 2016 and Częstochowa 1991. Two of the saints are St. JP 2 and St. Faustina.  The Pilgrim Prayer, Kraków Logo, City of Saints, Pilgrim Guide, Here, too.

Go Forth: Overview

Years ago St. Leo’s hosted a VBS, Go Forth.  Countries represented members of the parish: Zimbabwe, Peru, Philippines, Ireland, and US.

I want a third VBS to take on the road for a three year VBS cycle: Boot Camp, Super Heroes, and Go Forth.  Go Forth is modeled on World Youth Day and a pilgrimage: Poland, Germany, Italy, France, and Canada.  We can add Madrid, the Philippines, Rio, Panera, or Portugal.  I want to use WYD saints and themes as the backbone for each day.  Expect frequent updates and changes.  Here’s an addition: Building a Pilgrim Narrative.  Add short videos!
