The kids are making mini Mass books for kiddos. I have a bunch of blank books. We’re adding stickers, scavenger hunts, little drawings to color, etc. Teens have cut out images from left-over church calendars and religious goods catalogs. This week, the older kids are making a bunch of mini-books as possible as a service project. We’re doing the entire lesson. However, when we finish, the kids work on their Mass books. We’re trying to give small tikes an appropriate booklet. All of us have seen families hand kiddos a tablet or cell phone during Mass. We want to help kiddos keep their focus on the Lord. I will try to remember to get photos of the booklets as they complete them.
