Max, one of my students, helps with Faith Camp. He wants us to teach the kids how the pope is elected. Obviously, I want a craft! First, here is the process of electing a pope. I printed a copy of the USCCB’s infographic and images of the Sistine Chapel. I found this cereal box diorama; similar box sizes reduce disputes. (I’ll be eating a great deal of cereal.) The kids will cover their boxes with construction paper. I just needed an example to gauge the idea. We’re making a chimney and Papal Mitre, too. So far, so good.
